This webinar deals with cultural self-awareness. It discusses how culture has influenced ourselves - our values, beliefs and social relationships. It also covers the impact of culture on the communication and working relations, both within the ship and between ship and shore. This webinar employs personal self-tests, examples and exercises to make the learning experience both educational and entertaining.

Recognise how our cultural experiences have shaped who we are and why we act in a certain way
Develop the skill to critically evaluate our own cultural awareness when comparing with other cultures
Value the importance of being open to different cultures
