This course module develops participants’ understanding of the wider commercial and global environment influencing decisions at sea and ashore. Through practical maritime case studies, participants strengthen their business awareness by connecting operational decisions with commercial realities and company performance. Participants can earn credits towards further formal qualifications, supporting progression into relevant shore-based roles where formal qualifications and strong commercial acumen are highly valued.
